Chapman Celebrates | Musco Center for the Arts
Chapman University’s annual benefit, Chapman Celebrates, features a spectacular song-and-dance show celebrating The Female Voice” with more than 100 students and faculty participating. The Pacific Symphony concert, with conductor Mei-Ann Chen, will feature three prolific American composers: George Chadwick, the master from the New England Conservatory; his pupil Florence Price, the first African-American woman recognized as a symphonic composer; and George Gershwin, whose music is synonymous with the sound of America.
